資優學生教育實驗班之中,普遍存在學習成就不理想的現象,推其原因 在「假性資優」和「低成就」,二者皆以成就低劣為其外顯特徵,但其本質 互異。假性資優不是資優,其形成原因在於甄別的工具與程序的問題,或接 受甄試者已有智力測驗的經驗,成熟黯答題的方式。對假性資優因智能的限 制,故應及早輔導返回普通班就讀。低成就資優學生形成的原因不外是心理環境與學習環境二方面,故應從學生的家庭親子關係以及學習方式的了解著手,據以增進和諧的親子關係,培養適當的自我態度,提供有利的學習條件 ,以改進之。
