Abstract

Then, spiritual growth is used as the theoretical basis of analysis to integrate religious sociology, the influence of faith on family culture, and how children establish self-worth through the concept of looking-glass self and imitation learning. Through the analysis of the story dialogue text, the researcher found that belief has a great influence on children's thinking and identifying who they are, because people want to explain everything that happened in life, and faith helps people think deeply about "why". The researcher has also found that children gradually learn to understand their parents' thoughts and expectations in the family. Understanding that family rules are not restrictions, but hope children can integrate into the society easier. Therefore, when children and parents have different values and ideas, appropriate dialogue and explanation of the reasons behind the rules can help children and parents to talk and discuss. They are even willing to clarify their differences in ideas, to recognize each other's words and deeds, so that incomplete defects in the family members can be full filled.
