關迺忠竹笛協奏曲《蝴蝶夢》作品分析與指揮詮釋

Abstract

關迺忠的竹笛協奏曲《蝴蝶夢》創作於1988年，是一首三個樂章的大型竹笛協奏曲，樂曲的創作取材於中國古典哲學中，莊子的辯證思維與風雅之事，分別是寓言故事「莊周夢蝶」以及傳奇小說「莊子試妻」，除了運用文學的思想當作創作基底之外，作曲家關迺忠在竹笛的演奏上也做了拓展，打破了傳統竹笛的調性限制，使用了非調性旋律、半音階、大量的複雜變化音等創作手法，為當時的竹笛創作開拓了新的篇章，並深刻地影響著後世的竹笛作品。透過中國音樂的特點思維與西方音樂的創作手法，巧妙地將其融合其中，這部作品產生之中西音樂交會是實屬難得的，時至今日，《蝴蝶夢》依舊頻繁地在音樂會的舞台上演，歷經20餘年的各版本演繹，已經為竹笛作品中留下了不凡的價值。本篇論文共分為五個章節，透過作曲家關迺忠的生平經歷，以及時代背景與作品之間的連結進行探究，在理性分析的基礎上，建構屬於自身的想法，並作出指揮詮釋，綜合了研究者對於總譜上的各種音樂理解，包含實際排練及演出經驗。希望此篇研究能夠更加理解關迺忠在創作此曲中的意涵，並期盼為未來的詮釋者有更多不同的想法與建議。Naizhong Guan's Bamboo Flute Concerto "Butterfly Dreams," composed in 1988, is a three-movement concerto for bamboo flute based on one of Zhuang Zi’s dialectical fables “Zhuang Zhou Dream a butterfly” and the artistic tale “Chuang Tzu Tests His Wife.” Besides literary materials, Naizhong Guan, the composer, has also expanded the performance of bamboo flute, which is embodied on breaking the tonal limit of traditional bamboo flute and using composing methods as atonal melody, chromatic scales aswell complex and plentiful chromatic sounds, and has turned over a new page for bamboo flute music at that time and deeply influenced future compositions.Grounded on the thoughts and traits of Chinese music as well as the compositing methods of the Western Classical music, the concerto has cleverly fused them and presented a unique and rare cultural exchange. Until today,"Butterfly Dreams" has frequently been performed on stages and accumulated various versions over the past 20 years; it has left bamboo flute repertoire a great asset. This study has divided into five chapters to explore the relationship among Naizhong Guan’s life experience and background, to build an individual thought based on rational analyses, and to conclude an interpretation for conducting grounded on the author’s comprehension of score, rehearsal and performing experiences. It’sexpected to present a distinct insight into Naizhong Guan’s"Butterfly Dreams" and to provide future performers with advice and another perspective.
