「球場？還是我的家？」：女性教練角色衝突歷程之個案研究

Abstract

本研究之目的為探討女性教練同時在工作與家庭下所面臨的困境，研究對象為新榮中學籃球隊田本玉教練。研究採個案研究方法，運用深入訪談訪問田教練及其家人、同事、友人及前新榮高中籃球隊員，並輔以參與觀察法、文件分析，以更了解受訪者面對家庭及工作的實際情況。研究結果發現，田教練同時扮演妻子、媳婦、媽媽、教練、老師、同事等角色，受到傳統價值觀的影響，女性教練必須同時面對工作的壓力以及家庭的職責與期望而產生角色衝突，尤其是生子後感受到的壓力感與角色衝突現象最為明顯。除了建議校方應給予更多資源，減輕教練之負擔，最重要的還是與家人間的溝通、協調。對於未來研究者的建議，希望能多關懷生活週遭大大小小的故事，將看似平常的小事，轉化成文字，與大家分享社會上平凡人物的努力與感動。

The purpose of this research is to discuss if Caoch Tien has role conflict for being a coach, a wife and a mother at the same time, and how could she get balance between these roles.The participant of this research is Tien, Ben-Yu, the coach of Shin-Rong high school basketball team. This research is a case study by using semi structured interview, participant observation and document analysis as methods to realize more situation that coach Tien faces in family and her job. The finding of this research is that,she plays many roles at the same time,such as wife, daughter-in-law,mother,coach,teacher and colleague.Because of the influence of traditional value, a female coach will get role conflict easily when she has to cope with the stress from job and responsibilities from family, especially after giving birth to her child. The first suggestion of this research is that school should offer more resource for the baseketball team to reduce coach’s stress. The second suggestion is that coach Tien should communicate with her family more.The third suggestion is that future researchers could try to take care about the things around your common life, and write down the story about those wonderless people’s stories.
