Abstract

本研究為肢體劇場《風暴》的音樂製作解析,並探究如何以音樂服務舞蹈與戲劇。肢體劇場《風暴》裡有五段音樂,其中三首曲目使用合成電子樂製造出音效類的配樂,兩首使用現場樂團來演奏,編制為四重奏:雙簧管/小提琴/大提琴/鋼琴、六重奏:兩把小提琴/中提琴/大提琴/低音提琴/鋼琴。以五首配樂作品搭配充滿戲劇性的舞蹈,分五個段落敘述人們心中對權力、自我意志的堅持與賦予,貪婪、悲憫或殘暴的性質在個人與群體之中緩緩醞釀,隨而爆發。藉由分析音樂、舞蹈、戲劇在作品裡的角色扮演及製作方式的先後順序與媒介,探討將三者完好融合的方法,接著解析肢體劇場《風暴》的音樂創作過程,以及回顧整個劇場作品的製作過程,論述音樂與戲劇實際結合之經驗與反思。希望能透過此次創作與實務的展演提供讀者們關於肢體劇場、沈浸式劇場新的製作方式與素材,給音樂創作者能更有效地將音樂與其他元素結合,在製作劇場配樂上有更多的想法。
This study analyzes and interprets the physical theater “Storm” by exploring the associations between music, dance, and theater.Within the five pieces of work of “Storm,” human characteristics such as greed, brutality, persistence, power devotion, compassion, and self-will are progressively revealed, evoking profound emotional responses.Moreover, "Storm" features five original musical compositions and a dramatic dance performance. Three musical compositions were produced with synthesizers, with the intention of creating satisfactory sound effects for soundtracks. The remaining two pieces of work were performed by a live orchestra composed of a quartet of oboe, violin, cello, and piano and a sextet of two violins, viola, cello, double bass, and piano. Furthermore, this study elaborates on the artwork" Storm" by disclosing acomplete production process. This includes novel approaches (e.g., role play, symbolism) used to subtly integrate the three components (music, dance, and theater) into a cohesive work of art, as well as an overview and discussion of the project.Finally, this paper concludes by providing composers with references to novel methods and materials used in developing physical and immersive theater for future applications.
