焦循「尚書」學及其研究述評

Abstract

乾嘉通儒焦循里堂（1763-1820），為揚洲學派的雄傑人物，博通群經，其《雕菰樓易學》、《孟子正義》斐聲士林，復深熟《毛詩》、《三禮》，通經澤古名於時；而樸厚篤學，邃於經義，爬梳抉摘，多前人所未發，為學界推崇。筆者於其手稿撰述及研究論著，並有專文記錄，可概觀其學。而焦循研治尚書，傳世文獻多種，鑒解精實獨到，古今兼綜；唯研究論文鳯麟數篇，表彰一端而已，未能全體照察，故本文擬分三節就其學習與選述《尚書》的歷程、傳世書稿及其研究論著，爬梳成果，逐一探討述評，為焦循《尚書》學術與研究作一階段性的總結，並貞定他在《尚書》學史中可能的歷史評價。要之，焦循的經學研究，學術進路與風格多元而一貫，卓然樹立，相觀而善。

Chiao Hsun(1763-1820AD) was a noted scholar in the Ching Dynasty, who had plentiful research writings, commentaries and annotations on Chinese classics. His contribution had been proved to be valuable for academic research. I have studied his manuscripts and writings for many years. And I also published many papers studying his academic achievements. However, there were few these discussing Chiao Hsun’s study on《Book of History》. This article explores Chiao Hsun’s understanding of 《Book of History》and his research writings on this subject. I try to derine his value in the area of historiography. On the other hand, one may appreciate the diversity and coherence in his literary achievement.
