dc.description.abstract〈小島事件〉是筆者基於對於臺灣這塊土地的關心而繪製的繪畫創作。 zh_TW
dc.description.abstract"The Island Incident" is a painting created by the author out of deep concern for the land of Taiwan. Taiwan, an island surrounded by the ocean, boasts breathtaking natural environments, including lush rainforests, majestic mountains, expansive plains, and stunning coastlines. However, as the gears of modernization continue to turn, our environment is undergoing immense changes. Overdevelopment, pollution, and climate change pose numerous challenges, both large and small, to this small nation. Amidst these intense transformations, the author believes that as an artistic creator, one should actively engage with Taiwan's public issues through the creation of artworks. By leveraging the unique voice and perspective of artists, these works can shine a light on public issues that demand attention and discussion, encouraging more citizens to join the conversation and work together to make this small island even better. Landscape painting is a crucial art form within the realm of creative expression. It serves as a manifestation of the relationship between people and their environment, as well as a projection of human understanding, emotions, and values regarding the natural world. By observing artworks from different eras, we can see how artists tell diverse stories through their depictions of various landscapes. They portray the beauty of their homeland, convey their thoughts and ideas, construct their own utopias, and reflect the changes of their times. Beyond nourishing the human spirit, landscapes also serve as an essential language and tool for artists to communicate with their audience. Therefore, in this thesis, the author will explain how to harness the narrative and documentary qualities inherent in landscape elements to create paintings that address public issues in Taiwan. Simultaneously, the extensibility and potential for development of this creative approach will be explored. Beginning with the introduction, the outline and form of this research will be described. Next, through a review of the literature, the functions of landscapes within painting will be analyzed and deconstructed, and the ways in which landscapes can contribute to the expression of public issues will be investigated. The chapter on creative process and analysis will dissect the core concepts, style, content, and form of the artworks. The fourth part will showcase and provide a guided tour of the works. Finally, the overall creative practice will be summarized, and suggestions for future research will be put forward.en_US
