Abstract

Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) have emerged as a transformative tool in the global cultural asset and digital art markets. Powered by blockchain technology, NFTs ensure authenticity, uniqueness, and traceability, making them increasingly relevant to museums seeking digital transformation. This study explores the feasibil-ity and challenges of NFT adoption in museums, focusing on its impact on collection management, revenue generation, and audience engagement.Findings indicate that NFTs enhance cultural asset value through digitization, support innovative business models such as digital collectibles and virtual exhibitions, and strengthen museum marketing via social media and the metaverse. Additionally, NFTs facilitate cross-sector collaborations, promoting global cultural circulation. However, chal-lenges include legal uncertainties, market volatility, and technical barriers, necessi-tating clear regulatory frameworks and strategic implementation. This study con-cludes that while NFTs offer museums new opportunities for digital expansion, care-ful planning, legal safeguards, and risk management are essential. The insights pro-vided serve as a reference for museums navigating NFT integration to achieve sus-tainable cultural engagement in the digital era.
